Ang Silakbo is the official student publication of the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue (UCLM) Senior High School department. Established in 2021, we aim to create awareness and inform the public about student activities, policies, current issues, and achievements.

Whether you're a beginner or have prior experience, we encourage you to apply.
What positions are available?
We offer a wide range of positions for individuals passionate about journalism, media, and creative storytelling. These include Feature News Editor, Editorial Editor, Local News Editor, Sports News Editor, and Entertainment News Writer, each responsible for covering different aspects of news and storytelling. For those interested in creative and visual content, we have roles such as Literary Writer, Layout Artist, Editorial Cartoonist, Photojournalist, Videographer, and Video Editor. Additionally, aspiring broadcasters can join our team to deliver engaging and informative content. Whether your strength lies in writing, design, photography, videography, or broadcasting, there's a position suited for you.
